Long Copy
Lord knows copywriters are notorious for too much copy. So here’s some work that lives up to that bad reputation.
Gather My Crew
Website Refresh and Tone of Voice
Copy for good?
Gather My Crew is a service to help co-ordinate a group of people to provide meaningful support to a friends, family and loved ones.
Takeout
Crafting the TOV was my key contribution to this project. Previously they used language that risked diminishing their audience, e.g. “Help a person in need.”
I set a clear direction for their tone and demonstrated how to better protect the agency of their vulnerable and often overwhelmed audience.
Another key contribution was translating their platform into clear, understandable steps. Unpacking the complex and translating it into something easy to grasp is 100% my jam.
Optus Flex
Messaging Matrix
Positioning Optus Flex as flexible and delivering control in the My Optus app. Geared towards teens, students and young adults.

Takeout
My task was writing a messaging matrix to carry a consistent message across SMS, eDMs, landing page and more.
I used DJ energy to bring life to the product with the core message of “Tune, tweak and remix your plan.” A DJ working the decks creates a clear metaphor for the freedom and flexibility of Optus Flex.
Stock & Noble
SEO Blog Post
An old freelance client asked me to help out with a one-off blog post for Stock & Noble. Planning, researching and blogging. The works.
Why the
long face?
Takeout
Nay-sayers might ask “Why put this in a folio?”
But dare I say, anyone able to research and write about climate considerations on horse fencing, can probably write about anything.
Dry, wet, supplied keywords or otherwise.
