Takeaway

If you forget that business owners are people, messaging turns dry. I found a strong balance of personality and professionalism that kept the tone human and set a precedent for future work.

Business Living Network

I wrote a suite of radio spots to introduce Optus network tools in clear, business moments. Each piece shows how the different features support everyday business needs.

Sydney Light Rail

Opportunity

Optus let us know that nbn fibre was getting a 5x speed upgrade. Every supplier would receive the same upgrade, but Optus’ strategy was to be first to own the moment.

Insight

Part of this campaign included a Sydney Light Rail wrap. It’s pretty ironic that the Light Rail has a reputation for being slower than slow.

Consider the route: Dulwich Hill Station to Central
Light Rail: 37 minutes. By Train: 16 minutes.

Idea

Poke fun at the Sydney Light Rail by positioning our 5x faster fibre nbn as 5 million times faster than the light rail.

Everyone in the Optus Marketing team loved this.
Legal had other ideas :(
